Dr Akira Singh is a passionate and dedicated physician who loves meeting new people and helping them manage their health. She graduated cum laude from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2005 and specialised in Internal Medicine, earning her Fellowship with the Colleges of Medicine South Africa in 2014. In 2017, she completed her Master’s degree in Medicine.

For five years, Dr Singh worked as a Consultant at a major academic hospital, where she taught medical students, led specialised clinics, and conducted research. She also provided care for underprivileged communities. In 2020, she moved to Cape Town and now serves as a resident physician at Mediclinic in the City Bowl. Dr Singh focuses on early detection, personalised treatment plans, and preventative care, ensuring her patients receive high-quality medical support.
