With more than four decades in practice in the Wynberg area, Dr Avron Goldstein has built trust and expertise. He also worked part-time at the Victoria Hospital Eye Clinic for roughly 25 years. He now runs a personalised optometry practice dedicated to your eye health and vision.
He offers comprehensive eye examinations for spectacles and contact lenses as well as glaucoma testing. We give you full advice on all available options. If you have very high spectacle prescriptions, we can supply extra-thin lenses to ensure comfort and clarity.
When you come for a contact lens consultation we provide a free pair of trial contact lenses and Dr Goldstein personally teaches you how to insert, remove and care for them.

What to expect in your visit

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a friendly professional team. We start with your eye health history and check for any vision changes, eye pressure and glaucoma risk. Then we examine your need for glasses or contact lenses. If you choose contact lenses, Dr Goldstein will personally guide you through insertion, removal and care.
We advise on lens options, frame styles, and ultra-thin lenses for high prescriptions. We also test for glaucoma and ensure your optic nerves and eye pressure are healthy. We keep things simple, clear and focused on your comfort and vision.
