She completed her MBChB at the University of Pretoria in 2013. At first, she did not plan to focus on obstetrics and gynaecology. However, during her community service at Kimberley Hospital Complex, she found her true calling. She saw her natural skill in this field and chose to follow it.

After that, she worked at Kimberley Hospital Complex as a Community Service Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then worked at George Regional Hospital. From 2020 to 2024, she trained as a Registrar at the University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital.
