About Us

Dr Tommie Steenkamp graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2012 and completed his community service in the scenic town of Sabie, Mpumalanga. His love for nature made Sabie an ideal choice. In 2014, he returned to Cape Town, where he grew up, and began working in private dental practice. For five years, he had the privilege of working alongside the esteemed Dr Gert van Staden, gaining valuable experience in general dentistry while utilising state-of-the-art technology.

Dr Steenkamp has always been passionate about implant dentistry, which led him to complete a postgraduate diploma in Implantology in 2018. He is committed to making a difference in his patients’ lives by creating beautiful smiles and providing high-quality dental care.

During weekends, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mariandie, as well as friends and family. He loves exploring the outdoors, staying active, and discovering the hidden gems of South Africa. A true enthusiast of good red wine, he particularly enjoys it paired with a perfectly braaied Karoo lamb dish. The ocean and its wonders also hold a special place in his heart.
