She focuses on assessing patients, treating their concerns, and creating personalised rehabilitation programmes. As a result, patients can work towards better function and quality of life.

Kerrie specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation, sports injuries, headache, migraine and sinus therapy, as well as The Perrin Technique for ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Long COVID.

She belongs to the South African Society of Physiotherapists and the Health Professionals Council of South Africa. She also works as a Licensed Perrin Technique Therapist for ME/CFS assessment and treatment.

Kerrie Austin Physiotherapy Randburg Treatments

We provide care for joint pain, back pain, sports injuries, and movement problems. Treatment can include hands-on therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and mobility training. These methods help restore strength and support future injury prevention.

We also provide TMJ rehabilitation for jaw pain, clicking, and limited movement. Treatment includes joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, and corrective exercises.

Perrin Technique for ME/CFS and Long COVID

We offer specialised care for Myalgia Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Long COVID. Symptoms may include ongoing fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, headaches, and disturbed sleep.

The Perrin Technique combines lymphatic drainage, spinal mobilisation, and cranio-sacral therapy. In addition, holistic lifestyle support can include pacing, anti-inflammatory dietary advice, stress management, breathing exercises, and counselling support. Supplementation may also target inflammation, energy production, and immune function.

Headache, Sinus and Holistic Therapy

For recurring sinus infections, headaches, and migraines, we use manual drainage, pressure relief therapy, and posture correction. We also provide Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Visceral Release, which use gentle hands-on techniques to support nervous system regulation, stress relief, and pain management. This therapy can help with chronic pain, migraines, TMJ disorders, and postural dysfunctions.

We also offer respiratory physiotherapy, including airway clearance, breathing exercises, and postural education. For elderly patients, gentle rehabilitation and strength training can improve balance, help prevent falls, and support mobility and independence.

Kerrie’s ongoing education includes Cranio-Sacral Therapy Levels 1 & 2 through Upledger Institute International, Advanced Practitioner Training in The Perrin Technique, a 2-year course, and Visceral Release Therapy.
