About Dr Carla Marais

Dr Carla Marais is a qualified chiropractor with extensive experience in postural corrective care and a passion for treating both pregnancy and paediatric patients. After graduating from the Durban University of Technology in 2011, Dr Marais started her career in East London, where she worked extensively with scoliosis patients and specialised in postural restorative care. During this time, she attended the Williams Paediatric Seminar in the UK, which sparked her interest in working with expectant mothers and young children.

In 2013, Dr Marais relocated to Cape Town, where she worked at a leading practice in Sea Point, further honing her skills in postural corrective care, pregnancy, and paediatrics. Her dedication to these fields led her to open her own practice in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs in 2016, where she continues to help patients achieve optimal health through chiropractic care.

Alongside her professional career, Dr Marais has a strong interest in nutrition, stress management, and their role in improving overall well-being. She aims to offer a holistic approach to chiropractic care, ensuring that every patient receives a tailored plan to meet their unique needs.
