Description

Annuschkè Landman – Registered Counsellor in Kariega

About Me

Welcome! My name is Annuschkè Landman, and I am a passionate and dedicated Registered Counsellor with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). I obtained my B Psychology (Counselling) degree in 2018 and passed my board examination with distinction in June 2019.

I take pride in walking alongside my clients on their mental health journeys, helping them explore and understand their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. My work primarily focuses on children, adolescents, and young adults, with a particular interest in trauma counselling. I am also a strong advocate for self-love, and a key aspect of my counselling approach is helping clients build healthier relationships with themselves and those around them.

Every individual’s journey is unique, and my goal is to provide tailored support that empowers my clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

Services

Counselling for Children

“To play it out is the most natural self-healing process in childhood.” – Erik Erikson

Children often struggle to express their emotions verbally, which is why play counselling is such an effective tool. Using play as a form of communication, I help children explore their emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop coping mechanisms. Play counselling allows children to express themselves freely in a way that feels natural and comfortable.

Counselling for Adolescents

Adolescence is a crucial phase of self-discovery, and counselling provides a safe space for teenagers to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. My adolescent counselling approach uses specialised techniques that encourage expression and self-awareness. Whether dealing with stress, peer pressure, anxiety, or self-esteem issues, my sessions help guide young individuals towards emotional well-being and personal growth.

Counselling for Young Adults

The transition into adulthood can be overwhelming, with many facing challenges related to relationships, career decisions, and personal identity. My counselling sessions provide support and guidance for young adults, helping them manage internal and external pressures while fostering emotional resilience and self-confidence.

Additional Services

I offer a wide range of counselling services beyond individual therapy, including:

  • Behavioural Management – Supporting children and adolescents in developing healthy behavioural patterns.

  • Workshops – Engaging sessions for children, adolescents, and parents on mental well-being and self-development.
