At Vermonti Health, we understand that choosing a psychotherapist or play therapist can feel overwhelming. That’s why we aim to create a warm, welcoming environment—whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family. Based in Southville, Bristol, our team of qualified professionals offers psychotherapy, play therapy, and movement-based approaches to healing.
What makes our practice unique is the presence of our friendly therapy dogs. On various days, Stefano, Nicky, and others may be accompanied by their dogs—Sybil (Whippet), Doris (Miniature Dachshund puppy), and Aya (Husky/Collie). While the dogs remain in sessions with their therapists, you might spot them in the waiting room. Clients can indicate their preferences regarding animals on their biographical intake forms.
Our team includes registered members of respected professional bodies:
Stefano – Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
Natalina – Registered with Play Therapy United Kingdom (PTUK)
Nicky – Registered with The Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK)
Joel and Kate – Recently registered with BACP
We work with clients from a variety of backgrounds and also collaborate with organisations including The Benjamin Pritchard Foundation (Bereavement), Victim Support, Adoption West, and several Local Authorities.
We offer a broad spectrum of therapeutic services for adults, teenagers, parents, and children. These include:
Individual Psychotherapy
Play Therapy for children
Dance Movement Psychotherapy
Online therapy sessions via Google Meets (ideal for teenagers, parents, and adults)
We believe therapy should be a collaborative and respectful journey. Each therapist brings a unique approach and specialty to the team, allowing us to match clients to the professional best suited to their needs.
If you are a therapist looking for a clinical supervisor, please explore our Psychotherapy section for more detailed information. We support professionals across various modalities and stages of practice.
We accept clients covered by BUPA private medical health insurance, and we provide written documentation when necessary for reimbursements.
Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours’ notice during business hours (Monday–Friday) for any cancellations. Missed appointments or those cancelled late will be charged at full session rate. For example, if your session is at 11am on Monday, cancellation must be received by 11am the previous Friday.
If you cancel or miss two consecutive appointments, we will initiate a discussion with you about your readiness and capacity to continue therapy. We always confirm receipt of any cancellation message—whether by phone, email or text.
