At Healthy Life Foot Clinic, we’re fortunate to have a dynamic team of professionals who genuinely care about every patient’s experience. Georgina, one of our part-time Podiatry Assistants, is a wonderful example of this dedication. Based across both our Burnside and Woodville clinics, Georgina is a familiar face who brings warmth, professionalism, and a clear passion for podiatry.
Currently studying full-time at the University of South Australia, Georgina is working hard toward her goal of becoming a fully qualified Podiatrist within the next two years. Her time at the clinic not only complements her academic learning but also allows her to develop valuable hands-on experience. Every interaction she has with patients, podiatrists, and support staff strengthens her understanding of the profession she’s preparing to enter.
While Georgina is not yet a registered Podiatrist, her contribution as a Podiatry Assistant is highly valued. She helps keep the clinic running smoothly by:
Assisting with patient flow to ensure appointments run on time
Helping behind the scenes with sterilisation, cleanliness, and clinic setup
Supporting senior staff during periods of high demand or staff leave
Creating a friendly, supportive atmosphere for patients during their visit
Observing and learning from experienced podiatrists, gaining insight into real-world practice
Georgina often steps in to support the permanent assistant team when needed. Her flexible and reliable nature makes her a trusted part of the clinic’s day-to-day operations.
Georgina’s enthusiasm for the field of podiatry is evident in all that she does. Even though her studies are demanding, she remains committed to providing excellent service when she’s available to work. She enjoys meeting patients of all ages and is especially interested in learning more about biomechanics, diabetic care, and preventative treatment.
Her dual role as a student and assistant gives her a well-rounded perspective that will undoubtedly benefit her future patients. With each passing week, she gains valuable knowledge and insight that she will one day bring into her own podiatry practice.
If you visit Healthy Life Foot Clinic on a day Georgina is working, you can expect a caring and efficient experience. She’s excited to grow in the field and looks forward to the day she can help patients not just as a support team member, but as a fully qualified podiatrist.
