About Us

The Queen Elizabeth Centre is a key part of Grampians Health Ballarat, providing trusted public healthcare in the heart of Ballarat Central. We serve more than 250,000 people across the Grampians region, making us the main referral service for western Victoria.

We care for patients in hospitals, at home, in aged care facilities, and through community health programs. No matter where you are in your healthcare journey, we’re here to help. From early support to urgent care, we aim to deliver services that are compassionate, professional, and inclusive.

Importantly, we are also a teaching and research facility. Our partnerships with universities and training organisations help shape the future of healthcare through education and innovation. Our staff include expert doctors, nurses, allied health workers, and support teams. Together, we are focused on delivering high-quality care every day.
