Since 1982, I have supported families across the West Rand with care that brings real results. My combined training in audiology and speech therapy allows me to guide each person with skill and warmth.

I provide audiology, speech therapy, and medico-legal services. Each service focuses on real communication needs. Clients receive direct, clear guidance during every session. The goal stays the same: better speech, stronger hearing, and improved confidence.

Audiology Services

Hearing checks form the core of my audiology work. I supply and fit hearing aids from leading global brands and give advice on daily use. Batteries and cleaning tools are also available. When devices break or stop working well, I assist with repairs and servicing. Safe ear-wax management and flight medical hearing checks are part of my offerings too.

Speech Therapy Services

Speech therapy sessions cover articulation issues such as phonological delays, apraxia, and dysarthria. Language support helps children and adults who struggle to express themselves. I also treat voice difficulties that affect daily communication. Reading and spelling guidance supports school progress, while school readiness sessions prepare young children for the classroom. Each plan adapts to the client’s age and needs.

Medico-Legal Services

Full communication assessments are available for clients needing legal reports. I compile clear communication profiles that outline strengths and challenges. These profiles form the basis of accurate medico-legal reports. My expert opinion supports legal teams who require insight into hearing or speech limitations.

About Carina Wolmarans Audiologist Helderkruin

My education includes a degree in Communication Pathology from the University of Pretoria and a diploma in Higher Education. I serve Roodepoort, Helderkruin, and the greater West Rand area with dedication. Communication shapes relationships, so I work with care and consistency. Children discovering new words, adults regaining confidence, and seniors reconnecting with loved ones all inspire me. Outside the practice, I enjoy time with my family, road trips, camping in the bushveld, and good music. These moments keep me grounded and motivated.
