In 2006, I earned my medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. Concurrently, I pursued a Sports Medicine master’s program while interning at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

Furthering my education, I completed a diploma in Mental Health in 2009 and a Psychiatry Fellowship in 2014 through the College of Medicine of South Africa.

My practice is centered at Netcare Park Lane Hospital in Johannesburg.

I passionately advocate for holistic mental health care, integrating lifestyle, diet, and exercise into treatment plans. Collaboration with specialists from various disciplines enhances patient care.

As a former professional athlete, I have a keen interest in sports medicine and neuropsychiatry, especially regarding brain trauma in contact sports. I founded the Medical Commission of Mixed Martial Arts in South Africa.

I volunteer as a coach at Fight With Insight, utilizing boxing as therapy for conditions like autism and mood disorders. Additionally, I host boxing groups for patients at my practice.
