Dr Anton Grotius received his BChD degree in 1996. After that, he worked as a general dental surgeon in private practice in Brighton, UK, for five years. In 1998, he earned the Dip(Odont) in Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery with distinction.

In 2001, Dr Grotius returned to South Africa to continue his studies in prosthodontics. He completed his specialisation in 2005. Since then, he has practised privately in Pretoria, Lynnwood, where he has built a strong reputation for his skill and care.

Dr Grotius takes an active role in professional organisations. These include the South African Dental Association (SADA) and the Association of Prosthodontics of South Africa (APSA). He also takes part in the Pretoria Prosthodontic Study Group. In addition, he serves as the study club director for the International Team of Implantology (ITI).
