About

Dr David Sheinbar is a highly experienced dentist based in Milnerton and the President of the BNI Ratanga Chapter. Born and raised in Cape Town, he matriculated from Herzlia High School before earning his dental degree from The University of The Witwatersrand in 1988. Shortly before graduating, he married his wife, Mandy, and subsequently served as a Medical Lieutenant at 2 Military Hospital in Wynberg for two years. Together, they have three children: Michaela, Nathan, and Devin.

In 1990, Dr Sheinbar established his first private practice in Cape Town’s city centre. He later co-founded the Milnerton practice in 1994 with Dr Jonathan Cohen. In 2003, he earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Dentistry from Stellenbosch University, qualifying with distinction. His key areas of interest include Implants and Endodontics.

Dr Sheinbar is passionate about preventing damage to tooth structure caused by grinding and chemical erosion from soft drinks and energy drinks. He also works on the prevention of snoring by developing a mandibular repositioning device that has proven to reduce snoring in 80% of sufferers.

Outside of his dental practice, he enjoys golf, running, gym, music, and gardening, and he makes it a priority to support his sons in their sporting activities. He is also actively involved in community service.
