About

Dr Els obtained his medical degree from the University of the Free State and completed his specialist training at Stellenbosch University and Tygerberg Hospital. Since beginning private practice in 2018, he has continued to stay at the forefront of urological advancements, publishing research in peer-reviewed international journals and presenting at both local and international congresses.

His dedication to excellence was recognised in 2012, when he was awarded the Bard Prize for Best Presentation by a Registrar at the South African Urological Association Congress.

Outside of medicine, Dr Els enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
