About

Dr Roy Richard-Huson, originally from Cape Town, graduated with a B.Ch.D in Dentistry from the University of Stellenbosch in 1996. After qualifying, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he worked at a dental practice near Cambridge for four years before becoming the principal dentist. In 2008, he joined a top cosmetic practice in the Harley Street area of London, working with Dr Joe Oliver, a world-leading cosmetic dentist to celebrities. This experience allowed him to specialise in cosmetic dentistry, particularly in high-profile treatments featured in BBC’s “10 Years Younger”.

Dr Richard-Huson returned to South Africa in 2010 and established Silver Oaks Dental Clinic in uMhlanga. He has completed numerous postgraduate courses, including specialised training in Cosmetic Dentistry and Implantology. Dr Richard-Huson is known for his gentle approach, using techniques such as Nitrous Oxide Sedation and “The Wand” local anaesthetic system to ensure patient comfort.
