About Sheryl Smithies Dentist De Waterkant

Dr Sheryl Smithies relocated to Cape Town from Durban, where she worked in private practice after completing her community service in 2005. She was mentored by Dr Smith in Musgrave and developed strong skills in general dentistry. Her experience includes restorations, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, and prosthetic work.

In 2011, Dr Smithies opened The Smile Emporium. There, she further developed her skills, especially in aesthetic dentistry. Over the years, she also gained experience in dental implants, smile design, and facial aesthetics through advanced training and internships.

Dr Smithies offers a wide range of dental and aesthetic services. These include general dentistry, with treatments such as restorations, crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy. She also specialises in implantology, including dental implants and minimally invasive techniques that work alongside smile design.

In addition, her facial aesthetics services include Botox, dermal fillers, micro-needling, vampire facials, and thread lifting using Aptos and Princess methods. She also uses Digital Smile Design (DSD) principles to plan and create aesthetically driven treatments.
