Hannelie offers individual therapy for adults who face emotional distress, personal development needs, and mental health challenges. She also provides Child Psychology for children with emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns.
Family Therapy helps families improve communication, manage conflict, and build stronger relationships. In addition, Hannelie offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This therapy helps clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that can add to distress.
Hannelie also helps clients build practical coping skills for life’s challenges. Her approach is interactive and compassionate. She focuses on understanding the root causes of distress. She then gives clients practical tools to manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.
She uses both cognitive and behavioural principles. In addition, she places strong emphasis on practical coping skills that clients can use when facing difficult situations. This approach supports clients as they work through emotional and personal challenges.
Hannelie holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, BA Hons Psych, and BA Social Work from the University of Stellenbosch. She has over 25 years of experience in Clinical Psychology and has worked in various therapeutic settings.
