At Hanri Potgieter Physiotherapy Lynnwood Pretoria, Hanri Potgieter provides high-quality physiotherapy with personalised care and effective treatment.
Hanri Potgieter founded the practice in 2017, and it has grown into a trusted physiotherapy practice. She has a special interest in neuromusculoskeletal conditions because these conditions can make pain and related symptoms difficult to resolve. Therefore, she uses a holistic approach to understand each patient’s needs and plan suitable treatment.
Hanri completed her B.Sc. Physiotherapy degree at the University of the Free State in 2012. She later completed postgraduate certificates in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and Sport Physiotherapy. With more than a decade of experience, she also treats athletes, including endurance runners and triathletes. As a result, she has developed strong knowledge of sports injuries and recovery.
The practice treats a wide range of conditions, including:
Hanri offers treatment options that address specific conditions and support recovery. These include rehabilitation, acute-phase rehabilitation, injury or surgery recovery and individualised exercise programmes. Treatment may also include electrotherapy, such as laser, deep oscillation, electrical stimulation, TENS, interferential, Russian current and ultrasound.
She also uses spine and joint mobilisation, including Maitland, Mulligan and Kaltenborn techniques, as well as spinal manipulation. In addition, treatment includes soft tissue mobilisation, myofascial release, sports massage and strapping. Dry needling targets muscle pain and tension, while cupping supports healing and pain relief.
Ergonomic advice helps patients improve their work and home environments, reduce strain and improve posture. Respiratory therapy includes chest percussions, nebulisation, suctioning and Rhinoflow for respiratory conditions.
Hanri provides comprehensive care based on each patient’s individual needs. Whether you need help with a sports injury, chronic pain or post-surgery rehabilitation, she focuses on helping you regain mobility and improve your quality of life.
Her special interests include neck pain and headaches linked to posture or stress. She also works closely with athletes to manage sports injuries and support their return to competition. Through her holistic approach, Hanri provides personalised treatment that addresses the root causes of pain.
