Leah Gous Counselling Psychologist Melville offers caring and professional support to help people improve their mental health and overall well-being.
Leah Gous works as a Counselling Psychologist in Melville, Gauteng. She focuses on helping people understand themselves better. She believes that all behaviour tries to solve a problem. In addition, she sees the self as something a person builds over time. Because of this, she helps clients grow, improve life satisfaction, and feel better day to day.
Leah creates a warm and safe space for every client. She listens with care and shows respect at all times. As a result, clients feel comfortable to share their thoughts and feelings. She guides each person step by step. This way, they can better understand their challenges and make positive changes.
Leah offers different therapy and assessment services. Each service meets the needs of individuals, couples, and groups.
Individual therapy works as a shared process between Leah and the client. First, she creates a safe and supportive space. Then, clients explore personal struggles like identity issues, relationship concerns, anxiety, or depression. Over time, clients gain insight. They also learn simple and healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Couples often face stress due to poor communication or unmet needs. However, Leah helps partners reconnect. She teaches clear communication skills. In turn, couples understand each other better. This process helps build stronger and more satisfying relationships.
Leah provides detailed psychological assessments. She uses interviews, observations, and tests. These tools help her understand a person’s behaviour, personality, and abilities. As a result, she can support accurate diagnosis and clear treatment planning.
Leah also runs psycho-educational workshops. She offers these sessions to schools, organisations, and community groups. These workshops focus on mental health and daily challenges. Therefore, groups learn how to manage stress and improve well-being in practical ways.
Leah’s practice is based at 16 7th Avenue, Melville, Gauteng, South Africa, 2092. She works from Tuesday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00. She also works on Saturdays from 8:00 to 15:00. However, she closes on Sundays and Mondays.
To book a session or ask questions, call 060 775 6889 or email info@leahpsychologist.co.za. She responds with care and aims to assist each client as soon as possible.
