About

Dorianne’s personal experiences with trauma and change have given her unique insights into the struggles her clients may face. With a strong focus on authenticity, mutual respect, empathy, and honesty, she creates a supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions and circumstances.

Dorianne earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Pearson Institute of Higher Education. She is also a registered member with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Her counselling experience spans various settings, including schools, NGOs, medical practices, and corporate environments. She specialises in trauma and family relationships, using an Eclectic (Integrative) approach that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT).

Appointments

• Appointments should be booked in advance via email, WhatsApp, or the online booking system. Walk-ins and emergency appointments may be accommodated if possible.
• Most sessions take place at Dorianne’s office or a designated on-site counselling room. Pre-arranged home visits are also available.
• Online counselling is available via Skype, WhatsApp, or Zoom.
• Missed appointments or those cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at half the session rate.

Rates

• In-office counselling: R550 per hour
• Virtual counselling: R480 per hour
• Out-of-office counselling: R550 per hour plus travel costs
• Psycho-education workshops: Rates depend on client or organisational needs.
