At Mathee Dental Studio, our passion, knowledge, and experience come together to provide world-class dental care. With over 22 years in dentistry—including five years practicing in England and New Zealand—Dr Johan Mathee and his wife, Esja, have established a practice dedicated to helping patients achieve the perfect, healthy smile.

We offer a full range of dental services, with a special focus on orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. Our goal is simple: to provide expert care that enhances both oral health and confidence.

Dr Johan Mathee – Dentist

Dr Johan Mathee is driven by a passion for creating perfect smiles. His gentle, caring approach and commitment to excellence set him apart. Patient reviews consistently highlight his friendly manner, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to achieving the best results.

After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994, Johan gained extensive experience running his own practices in Namibia and South Africa. He also worked in private practices in the United Kingdom and New Zealand and is a member of the Australian Dental Council.

He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic makeovers and orthodontics. To stay at the forefront of modern dentistry, Johan regularly attends courses and lectures on various dental topics.

Beyond dentistry, Johan is a dedicated father and athlete who enjoys gardening, running, cycling, and diving.
