Meet the Team

Dr. Thorn Vivier

Advanced BioStructural Correction Practitioner

Dr. Thorn Vivier has always had a passion for understanding the human body and how to optimise its function. His journey in chiropractic began with working alongside athletes, from runners and surfers to rugby players. He served as both a chiropractor and a field-side medic for the Varsity College rugby team in 2014.

After opening his own practice on the North Coast of Durban, Dr. Thorn moved to the Netherlands. There, he worked in a bustling wellness-focused practice and learned to speak fluent Dutch. In 2019, he returned to South Africa to marry his wife, Ariel, and has since been practising in Claremont.

Dr. Thorn is deeply committed to helping patients reconnect with their bodies’ innate wisdom. He specialises in the ABC™ method, which he first encountered in Europe. This technique has transformed his own life and those of his patients by improving brain-body communication through optimal alignment.

Tracey Walker

Front Desk & Practice Manager

Tracey Walker’s introduction to the ABC™ method came after a serious fall that resulted in a fractured sacrum. The chiropractic care she received changed her perspective on health, revealing how many people live with unaddressed health issues that affect their quality of life.

Inspired by her own transformation, Tracey joined the Revive Chiropractic team to help others on their journey to wellness. She takes pride in creating a warm and supportive environment for practice members. Her passion for service excellence ensures that every patient feels valued and empowered.

Our Services

1. Advanced BioStructural Correction™ (ABC™)

Our primary technique, ABC™, is a revolutionary approach to chiropractic care. It involves detecting, analysing, and correcting structural imbalances in the body. This method not only improves posture but also enhances overall health by restoring proper brain-body communication.

2. Posture and Mobility Improvement

Poor posture can affect everything from breathing to mental well-being. Our treatments focus on correcting these postural distortions to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall function.

3. Pain Relief and Rehabilitation

We address a variety of conditions, including back pain, headaches, sports injuries, and chronic discomfort. Our goal is to identify and treat the root causes of pain, offering lasting relief and better physical performance.

4. Family Chiropractic Care

We provide safe and effective care for all ages—from newborns to the elderly. Our gentle techniques ensure that every member of the family can benefit from chiropractic adjustments.

5. Performance Enhancement

Through improved spinal alignment and nervous system function, our care can help athletes and active individuals perform at their best. Regular adjustments promote strength, flexibility, and quicker recovery times.

6. Stress Reduction and Well-being

Chiropractic care has been shown to help reduce physical tension and support a balanced nervous system, contributing to an overall sense of well-being and mental clarity.

The ABC™ Method: How It Works

ABC™, or Advanced BioStructural Correction™, is based on the understanding that accumulated stressors over time lead the body to compensate in ways that can harm both the musculoskeletal system and internal organs. By addressing these compensations, ABC™ aims to restore the body’s natural alignment.

This method produces consistent and predictable results for all ages. Unlike some treatments that focus only on symptoms, ABC™ provides a comprehensive approach to health by addressing the underlying structural issues.

Additional Information

The Importance of Good Posture

Good posture is more than just standing tall. It influences your mood, energy levels, and even how your body functions internally. The American Journal of Pain Management and research by Nobel Prize winner Roger Sperry have highlighted how posture affects breathing, hormone production, and cognitive function.

The ABC™ method naturally improves posture by addressing the underlying structural issues, leading to enhanced performance and a positive outlook on life.

A Vitalistic Approach to Health

We believe that health is a journey. Our practice is designed to support you every step of the way, from your first consultation to your ongoing care. By focusing on both physical and mental well-being, we help you achieve a balanced and harmonious life.
