Liza Stemmet is a qualified speech and language therapist with extensive experience in both paediatric and adult therapy. She holds:

  • BA in English and Linguistics – UNISA (2013)
  • BSc Honours in Speech and Language Pathology – UCT (2016)

Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, Liza has worked in public healthcare, private practice, and academia, including:

  • Clinical Supervisor at UCT (2019–2021)
  • Head of Speech Therapy at Tswaragano District Hospital
  • Private practice experience in neurological and paediatric speech therapy
  • Current therapist at Tygerberg Hospice Trust, specialising in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation
