Liza Stemmet is a qualified speech and language therapist with extensive experience in both paediatric and adult therapy. She holds:
- BA in English and Linguistics – UNISA (2013)
- BSc Honours in Speech and Language Pathology – UCT (2016)
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, Liza has worked in public healthcare, private practice, and academia, including:
- Clinical Supervisor at UCT (2019–2021)
- Head of Speech Therapy at Tswaragano District Hospital
- Private practice experience in neurological and paediatric speech therapy
- Current therapist at Tygerberg Hospice Trust, specialising in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation
