He has worked in theatre, jazz, and pop bands, composed music, recorded albums, and won a South African Music Award (SAMA) for children’s music. He specializes in supporting teenagers and children facing depression, anxiety, self-confidence issues, bullying, aggression, or autism. Dr Sacks also works with adults, including elderly people with dementia.
He holds a B-Tech in Music and a Master’s in Music Therapy from the University of Pretoria. He is registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and practices in Parktown, Johannesburg.
