Joshua Gaillard Physiotherapist Kings Park specializes in sports rehabilitation, offering expert care to athletes and individuals. He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2019 with a BSc in Physiotherapy (Hons). Afterward, he completed his community service year along the south coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. During this time, he worked as part of the rehabilitation team at a local community clinic. Joshua also visited surrounding rural clinics around Mtwalume, where he enhanced his skills in treating a wide variety of conditions.
As a Joshua Gaillard Physiotherapist Kings Park, Joshua has always been passionate about sports. He grew up in Durban, where he competed in water polo, rugby, and basketball. These experiences inspired him to pursue physiotherapy, especially sports rehabilitation. His understanding of the importance of recovery and performance for athletes drives his work. At university, Joshua assisted with the management and physiotherapy for UCT’s 3rd rugby team and the 1st men’s and ladies’ basketball teams. These experiences strengthened his determination to one day work with a national team.
Joshua now pursues a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. His commitment to ongoing education ensures he stays up-to-date with the latest techniques. This ongoing learning helps Joshua refine his approach to treating athletes. It also allows him to offer more effective treatments. He is dedicated to improving athletic performance and speeding up recovery times.
He believes that physiotherapy benefits everyone, not just athletes. Whether treating sports injuries or musculoskeletal issues, he tailors each treatment plan to the individual’s needs. This personalized approach ensures the best possible outcomes. Joshua aims to guide every patient back to their highest level of function.
