Education & Training

Dr Koshy earned his medical degree from the University of Zambia in 2004. Following his internship, he founded Doctors Outreach Care International, a non-profit organisation providing medical assistance to underprivileged communities.

In 2008, he was awarded the Belt Trust Scholarship to specialise in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Cape Town. Upon completing his specialisation, he advocated for establishing cardiothoracic surgical services in Zambia.

Since then, he has continued to develop surgical programmes, train new specialists, and advance cardiothoracic care.
