De Villiers Physiotherapy Inc. is a dedicated and passionate team of highly qualified physiotherapists serving the Upington community. Conveniently located at 42 4th Avenue, Oosterville, our practice is just a short distance from MediClinic Upington. In addition to treating patients at our private rooms, we also provide daily physiotherapy care at MediClinic Upington, attending to patients in ICU and the hospital wards.
Founded on 1 September 2011, De Villiers Physiotherapy Inc. was established by Lourens and Lara de Villiers, who moved to Upington in 2010. Since then, the practice has grown, offering expert physiotherapy services to patients in need of rehabilitation, pain management, and recovery support.
Our team is fully registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP), ensuring the highest standards of care.
Lourens holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Free State and has been in practice since 2010. His special interests include:

Her primary areas of interest include sports injuries, hospital and chest physiotherapy, Pilates, and sports massage. Lize-Marie is also an active athlete, having recently completed her first half marathon.
Marlene has been part of the De Villiers Physiotherapy team since 2015, providing invaluable support with bookings, medical aid queries, and patient assistance. She is always ready to help with a friendly smile, whether you’re scheduling an appointment or need assistance with your account.
