Jadwiga (Jaz) Siuda Physiotherapist Salford, qualified in 2010, has spent over a decade building a reputation for expertise and care. With a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Salford University, Jaz has gained a wealth of experience working across various sectors, including the National Health Service (NHS), Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatients, and Women’s Health Physiotherapy. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a passion for helping individuals achieve their physical potential.
She manages her own practice, Therapy First Physiotherapy, where she specializes in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and women’s health issues. She also works on medico-legal cases for solicitors and agencies, showcasing her comprehensive knowledge of the field. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or seeking long-term care, Jaz’s approach integrates various treatments to restore movement and reduce pain.
Jaz’s personal experience with scoliosis—an early onset curvature of the spine—has deeply influenced her approach to physiotherapy. Having undergone regular physiotherapy treatment throughout her life, Jaz knows firsthand how effective manual treatment and self-management strategies can be. She uses this experience to empathize with clients and tailor their treatment plans, focusing on improving posture, movement, and overall physical function.
She also employs a broad range of techniques in her practice. Her qualifications in Sports Massage and Acupuncture have allowed her to enhance her manual therapy skills. Additionally, Jaz’s 2011 certification as a MODIFIED PILATES teacher, through the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI), enables her to provide clients with specialized Pilates training, focusing on chronic conditions, injuries, and pregnancy. Her ability to blend these disciplines ensures clients receive a well-rounded treatment plan suited to their specific needs.
One of Jaz’s latest ventures is her training in the revolutionary exercise technique, HYPOPRESSIVES. This method includes a series of breathing exercises and yoga postures that focus on strengthening core muscles. HYPOPRESSIVES has shown tremendous benefits in treating conditions like diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, back pain, and even snoring and anxiety. As a dedicated physiotherapist, Jaz continuously seeks innovative solutions to improve her patients’ well-being.
As a dedicated member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Jadwiga (Jaz) Siuda Physiotherapist Salford ensures that she stays at the forefront of the latest techniques and treatments. She regularly attends workshops and courses, continuously expanding her knowledge and skills to offer the best care to her clients.
