Sharon Burke Counsellor & Psychotherapist London MBACP, ISST brings over 15 years of therapeutic experience to her clients. She is the founder of The Bridge Psychotherapy and works with adults of all ages. Sharon offers a safe, confidential space for individuals to explore their challenges, develop understanding, and find empowerment.
Her practice is rooted in a holistic approach to mental health. She helps clients grow in emotional awareness and well-being. Because of her integrative training, she can adapt therapy to suit each unique individual. Most importantly, she does so with warmth, clarity, and deep compassion.
Sharon trained with the Counseling Pastoral Trust and the Schema Therapy Institute in London. Since 2015, she has worked in private practice, consistently supporting clients through life’s complexities. Additionally, she led pastoral care at a London-based charity, mentoring a team of 21 people.
Her qualifications reflect her commitment to ongoing development. Sharon holds a Level 5 Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her training includes Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, and Schema Therapy. Furthermore, she is a registered member of the BACP and a full member of the ISST.
Sharon works with an integrative model, tailoring therapy to each client’s needs. She helps uncover the roots of symptoms, guiding clients toward healing and freedom. Her goal is always to empower individuals to make conscious and fulfilling choices.
Sharon specializes in many emotional and relational concerns. These include depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and trauma. She also supports parents during adoption and in navigating the complexities of adopted family life.
