Jess’s career also includes work with non-profit organizations, supporting refugees with PTSD and trauma. This inspired her master’s dissertation and led to presenting her research on cultural awareness at the World Congress of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies in Melbourne in 2016.
Her clinical approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy (ST), and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Jess emphasizes building rapport and trust, believing these factors are key to effective therapy.
