Sue Mack Therapist London offers trusted mental health care with over twenty years of experience. Right from the start, Sue creates a safe, supportive space where clients explore emotions, needs, and relationships. Through an integrative approach, she provides personalised therapy tailored to each individual’s unique journey.
Having worked at the Nightingale Hospital for more than 20 years, Sue has developed extensive expertise. Furthermore, she has worked in general hospital settings, supporting patients in understanding the connection between physical and mental health. In addition, Sue supervises students and qualified therapists while also providing training in family therapy. Alongside her clinical work, she has published five books on physical illness and emotional wellbeing.
Sue supports individuals facing a variety of emotional challenges. These include:
Anxiety
Depression
Postnatal depression
Stress
Interpersonal difficulties
Because these conditions often overlap, Sue’s flexible approach helps clients manage symptoms effectively. Consequently, she ensures every person feels heard, respected, and empowered during therapy.
Sue offers counselling and psychodynamic therapy through an integrative model. This means she combines different therapeutic techniques to suit each client’s needs. By doing so, she helps build resilience and clarity while providing empathy and insight.
Sue holds a B.A. in Psychology, an MSc in Psychodynamic Therapy, and an Advanced Diploma in Counselling. Moreover, she maintains active memberships in respected professional organisations. Therefore, her clients benefit from both her academic depth and clinical precision.
Providing therapy in English, Sue reaches a broad client base across London. Additionally, she ensures her services remain welcoming and inclusive. As a result, people from diverse backgrounds feel comfortable seeking her support.
Sue has written extensively about mental health, especially regarding the psychological effects of loss in pregnancy and childbearing. Her most recent book serves as a practical handbook for professionals supporting individuals through these difficult experiences.
