Cameron Holloway Cardiology Sydney delivers world-class cardiovascular care, driven by advanced clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient wellbeing. Dr. Cameron Holloway, with a distinguished academic and clinical background, leads our cardiology services at St Vincent’s Clinic in Darlinghurst.
Dr. Holloway holds an MBBS (Hons1) and a D.Phil (PhD, Oxon), along with international and Australian fellowships including MRCP (London) and FRACP. His affiliations span prestigious institutions such as the Australian Heart Foundation, Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, and the University of New South Wales. As a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO), he contributes to clinical excellence and research innovation.
Our focus extends across General Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging, and Metabolic Heart Disease, including cases involving HIV. Dr. Holloway’s work integrates cutting-edge diagnostic tools with compassionate care strategies. His patients benefit from tailored, evidence-based approaches.
Dr. Holloway’s clinical activities align closely with research and education. St Vincent’s Hospital, where he operates, is a key teaching hospital affiliated with Notre Dame Australia, UNSW, and Australian Catholic University. These partnerships foster advanced medical training and ground-breaking research, particularly in cardiology and transplant medicine.
Each year, St Vincent’s delivers over 1.4 million clinical services across NSW, including 40,000 hospital admissions. Dr. Holloway contributes significantly to this system, especially in high-need areas such as interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic care. He plays a critical role in extending specialised services to regional and vulnerable communities.
Guided by the mission of the Sisters of Charity, Dr. Holloway and the broader health network prioritise care for at-risk groups. These include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, and those with histories of homelessness.
