Description

Carlie Wickenden-Walsh Integrative Therapist Chelmsford: Trusted, Experienced Mental Health Support

Carlie Wickenden-Walsh Integrative Therapist Chelmsford provides compassionate, expert therapy to individuals facing mental health challenges. I support people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and more. My goal is to create a calm, confidential space where you can reflect, release, and reconnect with your true self.

I listen without judgment and work with you to explore new ways of thinking and coping. Together, we uncover the roots of emotional pain and develop healthier patterns that empower your healing journey.

Qualifications and Professional Training

My journey as a therapist began in 2009 and has been enriched with a range of specialised qualifications. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, awarded in 2011 by Victoria Counselling, and achieved BACP accreditation in 2018. Additionally, I completed a Diploma in Trauma Therapy in 2019, deepening my understanding of complex emotional experiences.

To better support families, I earned a Practitioner’s Certificate in Postnatal Mental Health and Early Parenting Relationships in 2021. In 2022, I completed a Practitioner’s Skills Diploma for Eating Disorders through NCFED, allowing me to assist clients navigating these deeply personal challenges.

Clinical Experience at Priory Hospital Chelmsford

Since 2010, I have proudly worked at Priory Hospital Chelmsford. In 2014, I joined the outpatient team as an integrative therapist. I later expanded my role to support the inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) starting in 2017. These positions allowed me to gain deep experience with a wide range of client needs, including young people struggling with anxiety, ADHD, and autism.
