Georgia Lee Addiction Therapist London is committed to guiding individuals through the complexities of addiction recovery. I combine clinical expertise with personal insight to create a deeply empathetic, non-judgemental therapeutic space. From the first session, clients are empowered to share openly and take control of their recovery.
I work with clients facing substance use issues, behavioural addictions, and emotional distress. Importantly, I tailor every intervention to the individual, ensuring that therapy feels personal, safe, and transformative. While addiction is often isolating, no one has to face it alone. Together, we can build meaningful change and long-term healing.
At Priory, I serve as an Addiction Therapist where I support both inpatients and outpatients. For the past 10 months, I’ve been part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role involves leading therapeutic groups, conducting individual assessments, and facilitating aftercare. Every step focuses on promoting sustained recovery.
Additionally, I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’m also actively pursuing full accreditation to deepen my professional development.
A strong research background enhances my approach. My Master’s research explored the link between eating disorders and identity. I continue to study how early trauma impacts addiction and recovery. These interests allow me to better understand the emotional layers that affect my clients’ experiences.
Moreover, I plan to pursue additional training in eating disorder treatment. This will ensure my therapy remains informed by evidence-based strategies and current research. Each step I take is designed to strengthen how I support others.
I hold several academic qualifications that contribute to my integrative approach:
MSc Addiction Psychology and Counselling (2022–2025) – London South Bank University
Level 3 Graduate Skills in Counselling – University of Salford
MA Multimedia Journalism – Manchester Metropolitan University
BA (Hons) English – University of Hull
Each qualification has shaped my communication style, critical thinking, and compassionate approach to therapy.
I work with a wide range of conditions and offer various therapy services:
