Lesley Crossley Addiction Therapist Manchester is a passionate and committed professional helping individuals overcome addiction. She began her journey at the Priory addiction treatment programme in 2016, first in a voluntary role. At the same time, she worked with Change, Grow, Live (CGL) and Emerging Futures. These roles gave her valuable experience and deepened her understanding of addiction support.
Driven by a strong desire to help people heal, Lesley pursued her formal qualifications. She trained as an integrative counsellor and earned a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling at Stockport College. With a person-centred, empathic, and non-judgemental approach, she delivers effective, compassionate care every day. This approach allows her to truly connect with clients on their path to recovery.
Lesley’s journey at the Priory evolved quickly. After earning her diploma in June 2023, she transitioned from a voluntary bank therapist to a permanent team member. Her consistent dedication and hands-on involvement with the addiction team made her a natural fit. Now, she plays a key role in supporting clients with various addiction challenges.
Lesley trained extensively at Stockport College, which laid a solid foundation for her counselling practice. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and also belongs to Addiction Professionals. These affiliations ensure she follows best practices and maintains high professional standards.
Lesley’s education includes:
ABC Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Concepts – June 2020
