Michele Greville Integrative Therapist Bristol offers a safe space for individuals to reconnect with their true selves. She uses an integrated approach to therapy, focusing on the present while addressing the unresolved wounds of the past. Right from the start, clients learn to build honest self-awareness and understand how past experiences shape their current relationships.
With over two decades of experience, Michele has worked across the NHS, voluntary, and private sectors. She began her journey with Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity. Over the years, she has supported both adults and young people, including her work with Bristol Children’s Hospital and Off the Record. Her passion lies in helping clients recover from trauma and PTSD—especially those with histories of addiction or mental illness.
Michele also brings her expertise into clinical supervision, guiding both students and professionals in the mental health and addiction fields. Her dedication ensures the next generation of therapists are supported and equipped to make a meaningful impact.
Michele works with transactional analysis (Eric Berne), helping clients connect with their inner child. This powerful framework supports clients as they give themselves the recognition and love they may have missed in childhood. By healing the inner child, clients experience transformation in their adult lives.
This work doesn’t just help individuals—it improves relationships, confidence, and emotional resilience. Clients are supported every step of the way, encouraged to engage actively in their healing process.
Since December 2021, Michele has worked at Priory Hospital Bristol, providing one-to-one and couples therapy. She is a core member of both the addiction therapy and general psychiatry teams. Her approach integrates psychodynamic principles with practical modalities like CBT and trauma therapy, tailored to meet each individual’s needs.
Michele’s credentials reflect her commitment to professional excellence. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Bristol and multiple certificates in CBT, trauma therapy, and therapeutic play. She’s also a qualified supervisor and continues to evolve her practice through ongoing training.
At the heart of Michele’s approach is the therapeutic relationship. Research shows that this connection is the key to successful outcomes. While Michele is psychodynamically trained, she blends various modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. This tailored integration fosters genuine growth for both client and therapist.
