Emma Pople EMDR Therapist Bristol offers compassionate, expert care for those navigating emotional and psychological distress. She is a highly qualified and experienced counsellor, known for her person-centred approach and expertise in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). With over five years of experience in the mental health field, she supports adults dealing with a wide range of conditions.
Her approach prioritises safety, trust, and connection. Clients often describe Emma as calm, warm, and non-judgemental. From your very first session, you’ll feel seen and heard. She creates a space where healing becomes not only possible, but achievable.
Emma uses EMDR therapy to help clients process and resolve trauma. Whether you’re dealing with PTSD, anxiety, or panic, EMDR is an evidence-based approach that works. Emma integrates this technique into tailored sessions based on your unique needs.
In 2022, Emma joined the Priory’s Bristol Park Clinic as an EMDR practitioner, complementing her successful private practice. This dual experience allows her to stay current, connected, and deeply involved in therapeutic advancements.
Before becoming a counsellor, Emma worked in the commercial sector for 15 years. She understands the demands and pressure of corporate life. This insight adds depth to her counselling, especially when working with clients struggling with work-related stress and burnout.
Emma holds a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and an EMDR Level 3 qualification, accredited by EMDR Europe. She’s also an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the EMDR Association UK.
