Fran began her medical journey studying physiotherapy in Vienna, graduating in 2004. Afterward, she worked in the trauma unit at the General Hospital of Vienna. She also gained experience in private practice. Soon after, she moved to Paris and joined the cancer unit at Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou. During her time in France, she specialised in scoliosis at a private clinic in Levallois.
