Description

Yvette Marchant – Passionate Clinician with a National Focus on Customer Experience

About Yvette

Yvette Marchant brings decades of experience and a deep commitment to client care in both prosthetics and orthotics. She began her career in Adelaide in 1998, where she took on her first professional role. Since then, she has worked across public and private healthcare facilities, gaining a broad and valuable perspective in the field. Her career has been shaped by a combination of clinical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a strong belief in the importance of positive client experiences.

After taking time out from full-time clinical work to raise her young children, Yvette has returned to part-time clinical practice at Prostek. In this role, she continues to support patients in achieving their mobility goals, combining practical knowledge with empathy and thoughtful care. In addition to her clinic-based responsibilities, Yvette plays a key role on a national level. She currently works within OAPL Clinical Services, focusing on improving customer experience across the organisation.

Her dual position—working directly with patients while also shaping service delivery at a broader scale—demonstrates her unique skill set and ongoing dedication to the prosthetics and orthotics community.

Services

Yvette provides a wide range of services tailored to meet individual client needs. These include:

  • Lower and Upper Limb Prosthetics: Designing and fitting prosthetic limbs that restore movement and confidence.

  • Custom Orthotic Solutions: Creating devices that offer structural support, correct alignment, or alleviate pain from specific conditions.

  • Rehabilitation Support: Assisting clients throughout their recovery journey with compassionate guidance and realistic, achievable goals.

  • Customer Experience Development: Contributing to national-level improvements in service delivery, ensuring that clients across Australia benefit from consistent, high-quality care.

Her ability to balance hands-on clinical practice with a strategic outlook helps to raise the overall standard of service for both patients and practitioners.

Additional Information

Yvette’s enthusiasm doesn’t stop at healthcare. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time immersed in creative activities—from crafts and DIY projects to interior design ideas. She is also a proud parent, now navigating life with “kidults” and relishing the evolving relationships that come with them. When she isn’t with family or working on new projects, Yvette can often be found dreaming up plans for a tiny house, drawn to the charm and simplicity of compact, purposeful living.

Her warmth, professional insight, and creative flair make her an asset not only to the patients she supports but also to the wider prosthetics and orthotics field. Whether you’re a new client or returning after years, Yvette’s well-rounded approach ensures you receive thoughtful and effective care.
