Dr Ibthial GP Norwich runs a supportive and patient-centered practice focused on quality care and hands-on clinical education. Therefore, we regularly train GP Registrars and Foundation Year 2 doctors (F2s). These fully qualified doctors work under supervision to ensure safe, timely care. Moreover, they help us serve more patients every day.
GP Registrars are qualified doctors training to become General Practitioners. Typically, they spend at least two years in hospital before entering general practice. Consequently, they bring fresh knowledge and hands-on experience. Registrars remain with us for up to one year. Furthermore, they are directly supervised by senior clinicians at all times.
Similarly, Foundation Year 2 doctors are completing the second year of their postgraduate training. Although they are fully licensed, they are still choosing their future specialty. For this reason, they rotate through general practice for four months. Additionally, F2 doctors receive constant support while contributing meaningfully to patient care.
We provide several types of appointments to suit different needs. For example, you may be seen over the phone, in person, or by video. Likewise, follow-ups may take place by text or email. This flexible approach helps us deliver timely, convenient care to our community.
