Yi Ng Consultant Neurologist Newcastle leads the field in diagnosing and treating neurogenetic disorders. He works actively at the RVI Neurosciences Centre and runs a general neurology clinic. Dr Ng graduated from Aberdeen University, Scotland, in 2007 with an honours degree. Later, he completed his clinical PhD at the Wellcome Centre for Mitochondrial Research, Newcastle University, in 2017. Consequently, he developed deep expertise in neurogenetics and mitochondrial disorders. He became an honorary consultant neurologist in 2021.
