He ensures that every treatment plan is personalized, evidence-based, and designed to help you recover quickly and safely.
Adam completed a rigorous double degree—a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science in 2003. Then, in 2010, he earned a Master of Manipulative Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. This demanding journey highlights his dedication to mastering the profession. Soon after, in 2011, he founded Evoker, a physiotherapy practice that stands apart through its commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service.
His career began in the elite sporting arena. He worked with the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Club during the intense 2003-2005 seasons. This experience taught Adam how to perform under pressure and sharpened his skills. Since then, he has treated a wide range of clients—from elite athletes to busy professionals, and even high-profile individuals including doctors and a former Prime Minister.
Adam Monteith provides thorough assessments and applies the latest clinical research to all treatments. He constantly updates his knowledge to ensure patients receive the most effective, evidence-based care. Additionally, Adam respects his patients’ time by starting appointments promptly, a commitment appreciated by busy Sydney professionals.
With over 23 years of combined study and clinical experience, Adam has achieved outstanding results in treating:
Acute sporting injuries
Overuse injuries from running, cycling, and swimming
Post-operative rehabilitation for shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles
Complex neck and back problems
Moreover, Adam often provides trusted second and third opinions on challenging cases, demonstrating his expertise and reliability.
Adam’s career spans several countries and specialties. After his initial work in Australia, he moved to the UK, where he worked with the British Army to keep soldiers fit and ready for deployment. During this time, he focused on lower limb overuse injuries such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy.
Later, Adam treated Olympic athletes and business professionals in London before spending a winter season in the Colorado Rockies managing ski and snowboard injuries. Returning to Sydney in 2007, he joined CBD Physio in the heart of the city and refined his skills further while completing his Master’s degree.
When you see Adam, expect a careful listener who dedicates ample time to assessment. He uses hands-on techniques combined with tailored exercises to speed recovery. Whether you are an elite athlete or someone dealing with everyday pain, Adam’s clinical expertise ensures you get the best possible care.
