Adelaide Physio Dublin

About

Welcome to Adelaide Physio, a Chartered Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic with two locations — in the heart of Dublin city at 54 Adelaide Road (D02 EC86) and in South Dublin at Blackrock College RFC, Stradbrook Road (A94 K2V8). We are proud to offer expert, hands-on care to help people move better, feel stronger, and recover with confidence.

Whether you’ve just suffered a new injury, are preparing for surgery, or are well into post-surgery rehab, we are here to guide you. At Adelaide Physio, we don’t just offer treatment — we partner with you through every step of your recovery.

All our physiotherapists are registered members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. This means they maintain up-to-date knowledge and training, so you can trust that the care you receive is grounded in the latest research and techniques. Every session is focused on understanding your unique needs through detailed assessment, accurate diagnosis, and clear treatment plans. Whether it’s a sudden injury or a chronic issue, we work hard to get to the root of the problem, not just the symptoms.

Services

At Adelaide Physio, our treatment is always one-to-one. When you’re here, you get our full attention — no distractions, no rush. Most sessions are 30 minutes, but if we need more time, we take it. You won’t be charged extra, and if we finish a bit early, that’s okay too. Our focus is on quality care, not watching the clock.

Our services include:

  • Chartered Physiotherapy
We treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, chronic pain, post-operative recovery, and general musculoskeletal problems.

  • Sports Injury Management
Whether you play casually or compete at a high level, we help treat and prevent injuries. We’re experienced in supporting both team and individual athletes.

  • Post-Surgery Rehabilitation
If you’re recovering from surgery, we’ll guide you through a step-by-step rehab plan to help restore movement and strength at your own pace.

  • Chronic Pain Support
We specialise in treating long-term issues such as neck, shoulder, and back pain. Our goal is to improve function and reduce discomfort so you can get back to enjoying life.

  • Taping and Movement Therapy
Peter Mulrean, the clinic’s founder, is Ireland’s only RockTape™ master instructor and regularly teaches courses around the country. RockTape™ is an advanced taping method used to support muscles and joints during recovery and training.

Additional Information

Peter Mulrean, the founder of Adelaide Physio, leads the team with passion and deep knowledge. A graduate of Northumbria University, Peter returned to Ireland in 2012 and opened the clinic. He has worked with some of Ireland’s top sporting organisations, including Blackrock College RFC, Cabinteely FC, Dublin hurling teams, Leinster Rugby development squads, and more. His focus is on identifying the true source of pain and using that insight to guide effective treatment.

Peter’s approach is always practical, personal, and professional. He believes in giving each person the tools and confidence they need to get moving again — not just today, but for the long run.
