In Dubai, she served as a mental health counsellor at Rashid Hospital and the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology. Throughout her career, she supported adults facing depression, anxiety, grief, and family-related concerns. Her role at the Dubai Diabetes Center further deepened her experience in chronic illness and emotional health.
Now, Alaa leads her own private practice in London, providing one-on-one therapy with compassion and clarity.

Moreover, Alaa emphasizes the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship. She believes that trust, empathy, and shared goals are essential for true healing.
Fluent in both Arabic and English, Alaa supports a wide range of clients from different cultural backgrounds. Her ability to work cross-culturally strengthens client comfort and encourages open communication. This inclusive approach helps many feel seen and understood.
