Ashley May Physiotherapy – Paediatric Physiotherapy in Pinelands

About Us

At Ashley May Physiotherapy, we are dedicated to offering exceptional paediatric care, helping children of all ages achieve their developmental milestones and reach their full potential. Established in 2020 by Ashley May, a highly skilled physiotherapist with a special interest in paediatrics, our clinic is committed to providing evidence-based, family-centred treatment.

Ashley holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town, where she received the prestigious Jannes Karl Wilhelm Binnewald Trophy for the best final-year student in Clinical Physiotherapy. After completing her Community Service year at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, Ashley’s passion for paediatric physiotherapy grew. The experiences she gained at Red Cross shaped her approach to care, emphasising a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach, and she aims to continue advancing her knowledge through further studies in Neurodevelopment Therapy (NDT) and Movement Analysis Education Strategies (MAES).

With Ashley’s vast experience and passion for paediatrics, she offers a therapy approach that is not only effective but also fun and engaging for children. Therapy sessions are play-based to ensure that each child enjoys their treatment while making progress in their development.
