About Us

The Cape Flats Development Association (CAFDA) is a community-focused organisation dedicated to uplifting and supporting families through social welfare, education, and development programmes. Serving the Cape Flats community, CAFDA provides restorative support to families and creates educational and social opportunities aimed at fostering resilient and optimally functioning communities.

Founded with the belief that strong families create strong communities, CAFDA works to ensure that children, families, and individuals have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. The organisation is managed by a team of social workers, administrative staff, and community development workers, supported by an extensive network of volunteers who help deliver essential services.
