About

I am a Paediatric Surgeon with a passion for improving children's lives through surgery. Born in Ireland and raised in Durban, South Africa, my early experiences as an asthma patient inspired me to pursue medicine. After graduating from the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine in 2005, I trained in Paediatric Surgery at Groote Schuur and Red Cross War Memorial Hospitals in Cape Town, and later at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Johannesburg, where I graduated in 2017.
