Dr. Carmen Jacobs is a passionate and dedicated General Paediatrician. She discovered her calling for Paediatrics and Child Health during her community service year. Working with children brings her immense joy and fulfillment, despite the challenges that may arise in dealing with critically or terminally ill young patients. She firmly believes that her career in this field is a result of being chosen by a Higher Power. Witnessing the resilience of children never ceases to amaze her, and she finds it truly remarkable.

She holds a diverse range of interests in the field of Paediatrics. With a special interest in newborn care, premature infants, lung diseases, neurodevelopment, paediatric skin conditions, and childhood infections.

Her qualifications include an MBChB degree from Stellenbosch University. And FC Paed (SA) and MMed (Paed) qualifications from the same institution. She is committed to providing exceptional care and support to patients and their families, aiming to make a positive impact on their lives.
