About Caroline

Caroline Parker is a retired psychotherapist and counsellor with years of experience. She moved her practice from Berkshire to West Sussex in 2001, where she helped individuals tackle a variety of emotional and psychological issues. Caroline no longer offers psychotherapy, but her legacy remains strong within the mental health community.

Caroline worked with individuals who wanted to understand themselves better or heal from past trauma. She also helped those who struggled with severe mental distress. She had particular expertise in working with people dealing with complex emotional histories, including those who had suffered disrupted early attachment relationships.

From 2003 to 2007, Caroline taught Attachment Theory to psychotherapy students at the Bowlby Centre. She also served as the Centre’s treasurer from 2004 to 2010, contributing significantly to its growth. Her work continues to influence the field of psychotherapy.
